EcoRove artists, Em Joseph and Iyad Gaida, will lead a talk-back after the screening of their film Cedar Exodus. This open discussion will follow the film’s themes of various degrees of human impact leading to the cedar tree’s contemporary demise, drawing comparisons between the cedar and the disruption of the green space across geographies due to climate change, gentrification, extractive tourism and commercial consumption. The founder of Our Temenos, Rosemarie Miner, will close the talk-back by outlining a brighter future is possible through the intentional stewardship of ecologically functional green infrastructure.
